Visalia Unified School District (VUSD) set the standard for supporting at-risk students with the recent recognition of two of its non-traditional high schools: Creekside Community Day School and Sequoia High School. Both schools were honored by the California Department of Education (CDE) as a Model Community Day Schools (MCDS) and Model Continuation High School, respectively. These recognitions reflect VUSD’s commitment to providing a holistic approach to education, addressing the barriers students face in traditional school settings.

Transfer applications are now open for the 2025-2026 school year for all families. For families impacted by the reboundary, please submit your application for priority consideration before January 19, 2025.
